National Cybersecurity Month of October

October is the national cybersecurity month and it is hitting all the places quite hard. It has already shown some effect on the New York Times, declaring the "Tip of the Week" dedicated to a free antivirus software. It is recommended by the Department of Homeland Security that you should run an antivirus in your computer to protect it from any kind of "viruses, spyware and other malicious codes". AVG is one of them listed and could be downloaded from this site: http://free.avg.com/
They also recommended Avast Home Edition from their site http://avast.com/ and lastly they recommended Microsoft's own package, called the Microsoft Security Essentials that could be available from this site: http://microsoft.com/Security_Essentials
