Copenhagen Summit: Summary

The civilians are waiting as the talk of Climate Change is being done in Copenhagen, Denmark. The Danish Prime Minister has commented it to be "opportunity the world cannot afford to miss". It is a conference held by 192 nations, to cut greenhouse gas emmision. The three target areas to talk are:
  • Targets to curb greenhouse gas emissions, in particular by developed countries
  • Financial support for mitigation of and adaptation to climate change by developing countries
  • A carbon trading scheme aimed at ending the destruction of the world's forests by 2030.
These three factors are noted by BBC in their Europe article linked here. They note that cuts on greenhouse gas emmision is needed, as industrial countries also flourish through these restrictions.
